Bow Trade Entry

TO MEASURE LENGTH: Draw length is measured from the pulled string to the back of the bow (the part that faces away from you) at full draw. The OSS 2025-26 Member’s Bow Trade is upon us. It is only open to members in good standing. This is your opportunity to give AND receive a custom selfbow! It is a great way to learn and teach at the same time. We start early so that everyone has ample time to complete their bow build before the trade. These bows will be displayed and traded (person to person) during our annual banquet in February 2026. Things always seem to come up, but If you are not planning on being at this banquet, please do not enter the trade. Following the entry deadline, someone NOT in the trade will randomly draw and assign bow specs to each of the bowyers. The bow you build will only be identified by the serial number and specifications given to you. The bowyers will build the bow and write their name (as the bowyer) as well as the assigned serial number on the bow. The secrecy is half the fun! The rest of the fun is finding out who you built a bow for, as well as who built yours. To enter, please complete the form and pay the $20 entry fee. Again, this is not something that you can miss the deadline and still expect to get in. The entry period closes at the end of the day on July 1st, 2025 (midnight). You will get a receipt when you pay for the entry online, and you will get another email at a later date with the specs and serial number of your build. FAMILY MEMBERS: You must enter each family member as a separate entry. Please specify who each entry is for in the comment box located on the billing information page.
